In Greece ancient frescos are displayed with the damaged and missing sections painted in slightly lighter colors to show that they are not the original work but are added by skilled craftsmen to show what the whole artwork probably looked like.  I found the appearance fascinating and added it to this painting.

This painting was done on site, with what seemed to be at least a 1000 foot drop on my left side and this view to the front.  It depicts structures from the Venetian times, and Greek structures from a later time.
